Privacy Policy

Top Extension collects only the information needed to run a public paid leaderboard and keep it reliable.

Information we process

• Public Chrome Web Store listing details, including the extension name, description, icon, developer name, extension ID, and canonical URL.
• Payment identifiers, amounts, status, and timestamps received from Waffo. We do not store full card details, billing addresses, or complete payment Webhook bodies.
• Aggregate click counts and five-minute click buckets. We do not store complete IP addresses, user agents, or user identities for leaderboard clicks.
• Short-lived IP-based rate-limit counters used to protect preview and checkout endpoints from abuse.

How we use information

We use this data to validate listings, process placements, calculate totals and ranks, show recent activity and trending entries, prevent duplicate payment processing, handle confirmed refunds, and maintain service security.

Providers and retention

Waffo acts as Merchant of Record for payments, Neon hosts application data, and Vercel hosts the service. Payment and ledger records may be retained for financial, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal obligations. Public listing metadata is refreshed or removed when no longer needed.
